FOUNDERS OF THE FUTURE 2018

Founders of the Future was launched two years ago at 10 Downing Street by Founders Forum. Their vision is to create world-class exceptional entrepreneurs under 35 who will build tomorrow’s high impact sustainable startups” (Founders of the Future Forum)
This year’s event from Founders of the Future Forum took place in Central London At the Banking Hall. This was the third annual event of Founders of the Future Forum and it was the invite-only event for Founders of the Future members as well as a selected group of partners.
The theme of the event was ‘What Type Of Founder Are You?’ discussing challenges entrepreneurs have when starting a company and what types of companies to build to create a great work atmosphere as well as a collaborative system. There were many amazing speakers such as Dr Jack Kreindler, Christine Ohuruogu MBE and Helene Patounas Nutrition who were the main speakers during the first part of the event.
The event followed by a discussion of Why You Shouldn’t Start a Startup with Sarah McVittie (dressipi.com), Frank Anthony Meehan (SmartUp) Damian Kimmelman (DueDil), Michael Acton Smith (Calm), Tugce Bulut (Streetbees) and Brent Hoberman CBE (Founders Forum).
Shaping Tomorrow’s City Today was presented by Lord Mayor of the City of London presumptive Peter Estlin following by Diversity and Inclusion – Creating More Diverse Founding Teams with June Sarpong MBE (Diversify), Trina van Pelt (Intel Capital), Mark Martin (Urban_Teacher) and finished with a Pitch to Angels session with Barry Smith (Skyscanner), Kimmy Scotti (8VC) and Andy Phillipps.
It was my pleasure to be part of this event and meet other inspiring young entrepreneurs and will look forward to make great things together.
